Restorative time away, planned by referral.

I design a considered week in a specific, remote landscape for people doing the inner work of recovery — by referral from the clinicians they trust, and never as a substitute for care.

The first conversation is a conversation, not a booking.

What this is

I am not a therapist, and this is not treatment. I am the person who designs the time away: where you go, how the week is shaped, who looks after you on the ground. The clinical work stays with your clinician. The week is mine to plan — with you, directly.

It sits in the same family as a nature prescription

Clinicians have long recommended time in nature as part of care; you may know it as a green or nature prescription. The evidence is for the mechanism — time in a restorative landscape supports how people recover. What I add is the private, designed end of that idea: a specific place, planned for one person, at a pace that fits. I do not promise outcomes. I plan the conditions in which recovery is supported.

Who this is for

People who are stable, in or past active care, and looking for restorative time as an adjunct — after burnout, through a life transition, in the slow work after a hard year — with their clinician's agreement that time away is right for now. If you are in crisis or need care, this is not the right door. I will say so, and point you toward the right help.

How I work

It begins with a first conversation, not a booking. If we go ahead, I plan one place, one operator, one week — directly with you. I stay in the picture after you are home. I work with a small number of people each year. No packaged itineraries.

On independence

You pay me to plan. I take no commission for sending you anywhere — not to a lodge, and not to a clinician. What I recommend is what I would choose.

Questions

Is this therapy or treatment?

No. I do not provide therapy or medical treatment, and I do not diagnose. I design restorative time away that supports the recovery work you do with your own clinician.

Do I need a referral from a clinician?

For anything that touches recovery, yes — I work by referral, with your clinician's agreement that time away is right for now. For general restorative travel, a first conversation is enough.

What is restorative travel by referral?

It is the private, designed expression of what clinicians call a nature or green prescription: a specific place, planned for one person, at a pace that supports how people recover.

Who is it not for?

Anyone in crisis or in need of care. If that is where you are, I will say so and point you toward the right help.

Do you take commissions?

No — in either direction. You pay me to plan. I take nothing from a lodge for sending you there, and nothing from a clinician for a referral.

Begin a first conversation

If a week away might help the work you are doing, start with a conversation.
